Team synergy

Transformative course
Why should I care about team synergy?
As a leader, you're not just working with individuals—you're working with groups. And you need a different set of tools for that. Why, you ask? Well, for example, to put a stop to endless meetings with turned-off cameras, sarcastic comments, fights over nothing and sabotage. When group dynamics aren't being managed, team can turn into a bucket of scorpions—or a gathering of zoned-out sloths.
When a team reaches synergy, it gains additional bonuses to performance, intelligence and creativity, and each member is involved and motivated. And this course contains facilitation tools that can transport you to that level like a fast and smooth elevator. But buckle up: it's going to be a challenge.
This course is a simulator tailored for a hardcore transformational experience. We’ve designed a playground to practice new tools in the group, role play challenging situations, analyse your experience from meta position and try out new scenarios. It can and will take you to the next leadership level. Thanks to regular feedback sessions, it will show you a great deal about both your perks and growth zones. It may not be easy, and we recommend this course for leaders that already have basic emotional management techniques.

So, now that we've intrigued or scared you a little, let's get into details.

Our group from the last "Team Synergy" course
  • Team leads and tech leads
  • Project managers
  • HR managers and People partners
  • Founders, CEO, C-level executives
Who's the course for:
  • Not enough skills to manage productive online and offline meetings
  • Team culture is built spontaneously, not consciously
  • Lack of understanding on solving conflicts inside the group and with clients
  • Leaders who are grown out of leaders don’t have sufficient soft skills
  • Employees are burning out and leaving
  • Leaders can’t deal with pressure inside their teams and manage it
  • There are no traditions and rituals for passing down and exchanging leadership knowledge and experience
We’ll work with problems relevant to the most IT companies:
  • Courses within companies aren’t practical enough and aren’t focused on teamwork

We'll explore how to:

Motivate and include each member in a mutual process
Lead groups towards collective decisions
Notice group processes and refocus people on the agenda
Manage the emotional state of the group (and your own)
Detect sabotage patterns in a team dynamic
Give and receive honest and tactful feedback
Solve conflicts once they appear
Form team culture and purpose
Generate ideas and brainstorm without throwing tantrums
Guide your team to the state of synergy

Complicated teamwork situations
Now it gets hot. We're learning how to deal with confrontations, complicated emotions, sabotage. Puzzling out what the hell transference and countertransference are. Getting tools to work with unofficial leaders and outsiders.

Day 5
Day 5
Integrating the knowledge
In this session, we'll play a psychodynamic game to integrate all the experience we've got on this course.
